MAKE YOU BLEED KIT LAST LONGER

Despite having worked closely with the two best local bike shops, to provide best possible quality and reliability of our bleedkit, we would like to point out a few important details. This can prolong the life of your bleedkit from very long to almost unlimited.

PLEASE NOTE! DOT brake fluid is quite nasty stuff. Not only it can damage paint on your bike, it is also not nice to the environment.

First empty bleed syringes to a appropriate bottle. Then dispose used brake fluid in a responsible manner by taking it to your local waste disposal. Some gas stations also except waste brake fluids. Please keep our planet clean.

Fill a bowl with water. With the M5 brass adaptor under water, pull back on the plunger to fill the syringe. Then, with the M5 brass adaptor still under water push on the plunger to empty the syringe. Repeat 3-5 times. This will flush out most of the brake fluid from inside the syringe. Repeat for the other syringe. Clean also the o-ring with water.

Remove the plunger from the syringe and then remove the rubber cap from the plunger. Take a paper towel and wipe the inside of the syringe. When everything is dry start to rebuild your bleed kit. Reattach the rubber caps and push the plungers back into the syringe bodies.

Test the syringes by moving the plungers in and out - they should move freely without too much force. If they feel tight and it takes a lot of force to move them, before the next bleed remove the plungers and lubricate the rubber caps with a small amount of brake fluid before you start.
